The mountain apartment in the renowned Savoy residence is an ideal weekend destination for anyone who loves mountains, nature and an active lifestyle. The modern, fully equipped interior was designed by a leading Czech designer, Ivanka Kowalski. As much emphasis as possible was put on using traditional materials, especially wood, which is so typical of mountain resorts. The interior is dominated by stained and oiled oak, white varnished brushed pine, cut stainless steel and natural colour shades.

The interior is distinguished by a large open space. The living room leads into the kitchen and the dining room; it is furnished with a black Luis leather chair and tables from the Maxalto workshop. The floor is decorated with cowhides and a working ethanol fireplace adds to the mountain atmosphere. The kitchen equipped with Siemens appliances has been custom-made according to a design by Ivanka Kowalski, as have the table made of rail sleepers and the bench made of cowhide in the dining room. Thanks to a sofa bed, the office can be transformed into a guest bedroom within a few moments. The children’s room is currently designed for two children. Beds are ingeniously concealed behind linen curtains that will provide privacy even to the youngest members of the family. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower. The washer and dryer are hidden in the built-in closet.

Part of the Savoy grounds is the much sought-after Savoy Hotel, providing the residence with a restaurant and hotel services including a wellness & spa centre. The apartment includes an underground parking space for a car or a quad bike it also has a cellar, which can be used to store sports equipment.

LOCATION

Špindlerův Mlýn is one of the most prestigious ski and recreation centres in the Czech Republic, long known as the Pearl of the Krkonoše. It is situated 150 km from the centre of Prague, i.e. approximately a two-hour drive. It offers exceptional climatic conditions, a varied mountain landscape and a wide range of sports activities. These are the main reasons why this resort, which used to be mainly popular in the winter, has become a year-round favourite destination, popular even with the most demanding customers.

All major attractions are within walking distance of the Savoy grounds. The apartment is located right in the centre of the mountain resort, near the town park and the Elbe river, approximately 800 m from the main ski slopes and a few steps from the shops, restaurants and nightlife. Thanks to its great location you can enjoy sitting on the terrace with breathtaking views of the nearby St Peter ski camp. The Krkonoše Mountains are an ideal place for active leisure all year round. In the summer you can enjoy morning walks along the Elbe or challenging hikes on the mountain ridges, while in the winter there are well-prepared slopes and cross-country trails.
