Sotheby's International Realty Czech Republic presents for sale Chateau St. Vojtěch, whose history dates back to the 16th century. Originally built as a Turk's mill in 1562, it has been converted over the centuries into a stately home, a knitwear factory and a hotel to offer a refined First Republic atmosphere amidst the picturesque Highlands countryside.
The chateau is set in over 70,000 m² of grounds, which include not only a meticulously maintained garden but also its own grounds, tennis court and private heliport. One of the branches of the supposedly healing St. Vojtěch spring leads to the chateau. West of the main entrance to the chateau is a fountain with a gallery, from where a path with resting places and a gazebo leads to the park, where a restored statue of the eponymous saint is located. For this reason, the chateau and the original summer residence of Vilém Smrčka was renamed the St. Vojtěch Summer Palace. The total usable area is 3,200 m², of which the main building offers 1,200 m² and accommodation capacity in thirteen stylishly furnished rooms and suites. The interiors are furnished with authentic antique furniture and works of art that enhance the historical character and uniqueness of the entire building.
The main building of the summer palace is an unbasement three-storey building with a central part and two asymmetrical wings. The ground floor consists of a representative entrance hall, reception, restaurant with professional facilities and a spacious ballroom. The first floor houses a refined bridal suite, library and other guest rooms, while the second floor houses additional luxury suites and themed rooms.
The main building is connected to the east wing, which was formerly used as a historical museum and is connected by a passageway. It is currently unused and offers space for expanding the accommodation capacities, enlarging the existing wellness area, for example by adding a swimming pool, or establishing a garage with direct access to the main part of the building. The heating of the entire complex is provided by an economical automatic coal-fired boiler.

The site is self-sufficient in water supply thanks to a new 58 metre borehole with a capacity of up to 10,000 litres per day. This borehole draws water from the dead-end of the St. Vojtěch healing spring, the source of which is located in the woods near the Spa of St. Catherine, approximately three hundred metres from the famous St. Margaret's well towards Počátky. The borehole is ready to be connected to the Letohrádek water supply system.
Today, the Chateau St. Vojtěch is an ideal place for a private luxury residence, a boutique hotel or an exclusive space for weddings and corporate meetings.
